To optimise and create shared rides with other users, the JYVAIS service pricing is based on a principle of proximity offers.
The price is €2 per person per trip if you travel to or from one of the Points of Interests of the Proximity Offers list during specified time slots.
Proximity Offers are classified into 4 themes, with their respective schedules:
- The Proximity Offer Transilien stations: Service to 5 Transilien stations on line P – Meaux, Trilport, Isles-les-Meldeuses, Lizy-sur-Ourcq, Crouy-sur-Ourcq – in the morning and evening.
- The Proximity Offer Shops & services: Public services, health establishments, shops, etc.
- The Proximity Offer Leisure & culture: Sports facilities, museums, libraries, leisure centers, etc.
- The Event Offer: Service to certain local events such as sports events, festivals, etc. Service hours may be extended to ensure coverage throughout the events.
To benefit from the preferential rate of €2 per person per trip for local offers, your trip must be completed entirely during the offer hours (time slots shown in color above).
Outside of these offers, the regular fare for a Liberty Trip is €5 per person per trip.

How does it work?

Book a trip by specifying pick-up and drop-off addresses and indicating if you are travelling with other passengers. A 20-minute pick-up window is assigned to you when booking. The precise pick-up time is communicated to you at 6 PM the day before the trip. This allows the algorithm to optimise trips and group similar journeys in advance.
3. Meet your driver
It is recommended to be at the pick-up address a few minutes before the vehicle arrives to facilitate pick-up for you and other passengers. You can track the vehicle’s progress in real-time via the app.
FAQ

The rides are shared with other passengers who have similar routes to yours. The JYVAIS experiment is being deployed in Pays de Meaux and Pays de l’Ourcq for 6 months, from May to October 2024. It is managed and funded by the Tech4Mobility program, under the Technology, Innovation and Group Projects Division of SNCF Group.

The JYVAIS experiment is designed to group trips within the experimental zone. Both your departure and arrival addresses must be within Pays de Meaux or Pays de l’Ourcq.
The Tech4Mobility program of SNCF is aimed at testing new mobility solutions for rural and sparsely populated areas through full-scale and time-limited experiments. JYVAIS is part of this program of experiments and aims to test an innovative new on-demand transportation service. Unique in France, this project is being deployed for 6 months in Pays de Meaux and Pays de l’Ourcq only. At the end of these 6 months, the project will be evaluated to determine its relevance and its potential to be deployed in other sparsely populated areas. By using JYVAIS, you are contributing to inventing the mobility of tomorrow.

The JYVAIS experiment is designed to match the available fleet of vehicles to the trips requested by customers and to group people travelling to similar destinations in the same vehicle. It may happen that your trip is not available at the requested time. This can be due to very high demand. The JYVAIS experiment is unique in France, and we are learning every day to better meet the mobility needs and expectations of your area.
JYVAIS is an on-demand transportation experiment that complements the public transport network in Pays de Meaux and Pays de l’Ourcq. To respect non-competition with the public transportation organised by Ile-de-France Mobilités, JYVAIS does not allow booking trips that can be made using the existing bus lines or TAD services in the area. When searching for a route, if a better public transport alternative already exists, you will not be able to book a trip with JYVAIS. Whenever possible, the JYVAIS app also shows you how to complete your journey using the public transport in the area.
For JYVAIS, we use 5 Renault TRAFIC vehicles, each capable of accommodating up to 8 passengers.
The fleet is regularly maintained according to the strictest standards to ensure compliance with all safety laws for vehicles of this type.
Each driver has their license thoroughly checked and completes both written and driving tests before starting with JYVAIS.
Drivers also go through training that covers customer service, vehicle safety, and driving skills.
Passengers are allowed one luggage weighing up to 7 kg. For larger luggage exceeding 7 kg, it will be accepted based on available space onboard and may incur an additional cost.
If you need to transport large luggage, please contact our customer service to ensure we have enough space to accommodate them. Transporting unreported large luggage may be refused

If it’s already in use, you’ll need to bring your own. We don’t provide baby seats. If a child can’t travel safely, the driver may refuse transportation.
Minors aged 11 and above can travel alone if they have a signed permission slip from their legal guardian, handwritten as follows: “J’autorise mon enfant [First Name] [Last Name], âgé de [X] années, à utiliser seul le service de transport à la demande JYVAIS. [Parent’s First and Last Name], [Date], [Signature].”
The transportation provider is accountable for the journey from the pick-up to drop-off.
Our vehicles can accommodate a baby carrier or baby car seat. However, you’ll need to provide this equipment yourself as our vehicles are only equipped with booster seats.
Small pets are welcome, as long as they travel in a transportation crate.
Guide dogs and assistance dogs are allowed in all vehicles.
