NewMo is the city-sponsored ride sharing service  dedicated to  a core group of riders, making getting around easier, faster, and more sustainable. When you’re ready to go, book a shared ride straight from your phone and get picked up in a sleek, comfortable vehicle. Commute or get just about anywhere you need without breaking the bank.

Price:

$3 for seniors and riders with disabilities.

$1 subsidized rides are available to qualified low-income residents.  Learn more.

Monday to Friday 7am - 6:30pm.

NewMo Senior Service:

If you are over 60 years of age learn more about the NewMo Senior Service to unlock:

• Door-to-door service
• Access certain medical facilities outside of Newton
• Weekend service from 9am to 12pm
• Pre-book rides

The Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities Transportation Network Company Division (the “Division”) is seeking public comments to enhance procedures for reporting by Transportation Network Companies (“TNCs”) of rider and driver complaints, pursuant to Massachusetts General Laws c. 159A1⁄2, § 3 and 220 CMR 274.12(3). River North Transit LLC is a licensed TNC in Massachusetts and River North operates under the Via brand in Salem, Newton, and Worcester. 

By order of the Division, River North provides a copy of the “Notice of Inquiry & Request for Public Comments.”

We take safety and feedback very seriously, and have a dedicated team and a strict process to review each complaint, which includes human-led investigations and case reviews. Additionally, our Zero Tolerance, Anti-Discrimination, Service Animal, and No Weapons policies further reinforce our commitment in this regard.
